A certain employee of a certain company in the Ruhr region tampered with the orders of clients. When, for example, a vacuum cleaner was ordered, s/he would add accessories which were not part of the initial order (various sizes of brushes, vacuum bags and filters, and so on). The clients did not receive any copy of the order made which is why it took around three months until, after numerous clients had complained about the amount of the bill, the head of the company started having suspicions and decided to approach the Kurtz Detective Agency in the Ruhr region. During our investigations, we found out that the employee mentioned had doubled, sometimes even tripled, the order value by tampering with the orders. Apparently, he had convinced the clients that they could save about 30 % if they paid 80 % of the order value cash in his/her hand. Obviously, this cash money was never seen by the company.
